Jeremiah is originally from Sidney, Nebraska, and earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Art from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He moved to Portland in the Fall of 2020 from Denver, Colorado, where he worked as an Education Specialist with the Jefferson County Boys & Girls Club for nearly 4 years. This nonprofit work experience led Jeremiah to begin his pursuit of a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus in Nonprofit Management from Portland State University. He joined the NNACoE Team as a Social Media Intern and before transitioning into his role as the NNACoE Assistant and now the Communications Manager & Design Lead. Jeremiah is grateful to be a part of the motivated and supportive team at NNACoE, and is excited to contribute to the mission of sustainably addressing the health care needs of all people by increasing the number of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in health professions. Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys running, playing basketball, making art, and discovering new music.
